What is nutritional therapy about?

Nutritional therapy is a complementary therapy, not an alternative medicine. It works well alongside conventional medicine. It is most relevant for individuals with long term sub optimal health, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Please note nutritional therapists use nutrition to support children and adults with and without named medical conditions, but do not treat any medical condition by either nutritional therapy or any other means.

*The term nutritionist has in the past been used interchangeably with nutritional therapist. Nutritional therapists work on a one-to-one basis. A nutritionist works with groups of people, or on research or population level nutritional impacts. For more detail on these titles see this link.
